- Establish a baseline: Collect writing samples from students at the start of the term to understand their natural writing style.

- Personalized prompts: Design assignments that incorporate personal experience, current events, or class-specific discussions. These are harder to generate convincingly with AI because the tool lacks access to the student's personal context.
